Obituary of Donald Leslie Bragg

Donald "Don" Leslie Bragg, 77, of State College, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Village at Penn State.

Born December 1, 1945, in Clearwater, FL he was the son of the late Ervene C. and Pauline (Mixon) Bragg. On July 3rd, 1971 he married Shirley Imogene Emerson, who preceded him in death on September 4, 2017.

He is survived by three sons; Jeffrey N. Bragg and his wife, Elli, of State College, Jeremy D. Bragg and his wife, Regi Ott, of Little Rock, AR and Matthew J. Bragg and his wife, Megan, of Lake Stevens, WA.; four grandchildren Fiona, Maizie, Gus, and Hannah; two sisters, Mary Rinehuls and her husband, Kenneth, of Republic, MO and Peggy Bragg of Minneola, FL.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded by his brother, Kenneth Bragg.

Don was a 1963 graduate of Gulf High School, New Port Richey, FL. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering in the late 1960s.

He was the Founder and Chairman of U.S. Insurance Audit Services, Inc. He founded the company to provide his customers with his innovation of telephone insurance audits and to allow himself to continue to participate in the mission of educating the public about the premium audit field.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College, with Celebrant Jackie Naginey Hook officiating.

Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
