Obituary of Betty Crouse

Betty J. Crouse, 87, of Lemont, died Saturday, May 24, 2014, at The Fairways at Brookline. Born July 3, 1926, in Buffalo Run, she was the daughter of the late Allen Howard and Jennie Twila Harter Wolford. On February 6, 1946, she married Robert T. Kline, Sr., who preceded her in death on July 8, 1978. On October 10, 1986, she married Clarence Crouse, who preceded her in death on April 14, 1995. Betty is survived by her son, Robert "Tom" Kline, Jr of Lemont; daughter, Lisa Narehood and husband, Dave of Lemont; grandchildren, Kylie Narehood and David Narehood; sister, Francis Oligher and husband, Howard of Lawton, OK. Betty was also preceded in death by her daughter, June Ann Kline on March 23, 1968; daughter-in-law, Rita Kline on October 15, 2013; sister, Margaret McBeth; brothers, Allen Wolford and Paul Wolford; and infant brother, Donald Wolford. She was a member of Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church, Lemont. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved to be outside. Abiding by Betty's wishes, services will be private. The family would like to thank Brookline Village for the excellent care they had given to Betty during her time there. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church, 1500 East Branch Rd, Lemont, PA 16851 or to Windgate Elementary School Library, 751 S. Eagle Valley Road, Wingate, PA 16823.
