Obituary of Jack Crean

Jack Crean, 18, of State College, died Sunday, August 24, 2014. Born July 16, 1996 in Altoona, he was the son of David and Kathi Crean, who survive at home. In addition to his parents, Jack is survived by his sister, Katey Crean, of Port Matilda. Jack was an altar server at St. George Catholic Church, Guilford CT. He was a 2014 graduate of State College High School . While attending high school, he was the President of the Little Lions Stock Fund, the Roar Store Accounting Manager, played two years of JV Lacrosse, and was a member of the DECA team. Most recently, he was a student at Penn State. Jack was a Sales Transaction Associate at Best Buy. He enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Koch Funeral Home with Father Neil Dadey officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery in S. Hadley, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College.
