Obituary of Marian Jones

Miss Marian Beatrice Jones, 100, of Pleasant Gap, died on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at her home at the Oaks, Pleasant Gap. She was the daughter of Nelson Samuel Jones and Phoebe Bertha Nichelson Jones. Born July 22, 1914, seventh of ten siblings, all of whom preceded her in death. As per Marian's request, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at Faith United Church of Christ, 300 East College Avenue, State College on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 10:45 a.m. with Rev. Monica Dawkins-Smith officiating. Interment will be private in Pine Hall Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Faith United Church of Christ, 300 East College Avenue, State College, PA 16801 in memory of Miss Marian B.
